Narrative for humans
Merit
How is who gives value recognized? How do we prevent merit from becoming an exchange currency that corrupts?
Three systems, each with its purpose.
Credits — who gave what to whom
When someone contributes — with code, words, time, ideas — their signature stays. Like in git, where every line says who wrote it. But here it is not code: it is human value.
Whoever comes after can retrace the chain. Knows who built what. Not a monument to someone: a map of the hands that kept the project alive.
Merits — the compensation for who did the work
Did you work? Did you give time, skill, value? You earn Merits. They are transferable — to your heirs, to a cause you care about, to whoever you want.
Not money. Recognition. Turning "thank you" into something that lasts.
Karma — the reputation that follows
If you keep your word, Karma grows. If you betray, it drops. It does not punish: it signals. It is the verified version of "they say".
Not a blockchain
No mining, no real money involved, no speculation. It is an internal ledger, kept by Sinodo members. Transparent for those entitled, closed to who wants to speculate.
Value is not a commodity. It is a relationship.
